Using Tennis as a Vehicle to Uplift
Every Saturday, Something Amazing Happens
At the Jamaica Nonprofit Tennis Academy & Enrichment Centre, children from communities such as Flanker, Norwood, Glendevon, Salt Spring, Harmony, Granville, Barrett Town, and Mount Zion are discovering something many never imagined possible β the opportunity to step onto a tennis court, believe in themselves, and dream bigger.
In the inner-city communities of Montego Bay, Jamaica, many children grow up without access to opportunity, mentorship, transportation, or structured after-school programs. Today, that is beginning to change.
The Jamaica Nonprofit Tennis Academy & Enrichment Centre is changing lives by providing access to tennis, education, and mentorship to children who need it most.
Where Dreams Come Alive
Every Saturday, our tennis courts at Takuma Boutique Hotel come alive with energy, laughter, discipline, and hope. Many of these children are holding a tennis racket for the very first time.
The Saturday program has become a beacon of hope for children from inner-city communities, providing them with a safe space to learn, grow, and develop important life skills through tennis.
More Than Just Tennis Players
We are not just building tennis players β we are building future leaders, teachers, professionals, mentors, and role models.

Making a Difference, One Child at a Time
The Biggest Obstacle to Access
Transportation remains our single largest ongoing financial need.
For many of these children, transportation is the biggest obstacle. Without transportation, they cannot get to the courts. Without support, many would never have access to tennis, mentorship, or positive after-school opportunities.
The lack of reliable transportation creates a significant barrier that prevents many talented and deserving children from participating in our life-changing programs.
Transportation remains our single largest ongoing financial need. Without reliable transportation, children from inner-city communities like Flanker, Norwood, Glendevon, and others cannot access our programs at Takuma Boutique Hotel.
